Job Summary
* Assist a certificated teach in reinforce instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or assigned learning environment. * Tutor students in specific areas of reading intervention, language, math and possibly in conjunction with a computer-based tutorial program. * Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans. * Perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

ESSA or NCLB must have: 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2. Two years of college (48 units) or 3. AA Degree (or higher) or 4. Pass a Paraeducator test. (Please contact SCCS if you would like to make an appointment to test the Paraeducator test.)
