THE POSITION: The assistant principal shall assist the principal in supervising and providing instructional and administrative leadership to the staff and students; plan, direct, assist, and supervise the work performed by teachers and clerical staff; provide responsible and professional staff assistance in the supervision of the assigned educational program; assist with providing liaison functions with other schools and education programs including colleges and universities and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Experience: Secondary Administrative Experience required. Special Education administrative experience desirable. At least one year experience must have been in an out of classroom leadership position such as coach, coordinator, TOSA, or similar position. Education: A Master's degree in education or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE (All applicants must attach credential with document number to their application. Please do not attach the certificate copy of your application or you will be screened out. See below for step-by-step instructions.): • Possess and maintain a valid Administrative Services Credential.
