Job Summary
* Assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students with special needs assigned to a Resource Specialist Program (RSP), Special Day Class (SDC) or general education classroom environment * Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) * Assist in the presentation and preparation of learning materials, lesson plans and instructional exercise * Perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2. Two years of college (48 units) or 3. AA Degree (or higher) or 4. Pass a Paraeducator test. (Please contact SCCS if you would like to make an appointment to test the Paraeducator test.)
