Requirements / Qualifications
What We Offer: Training Experience SFUSD places professional development at the forefront of our program’s mission. We seek talented masters-level, pre-doctoral, and post-doctoral candidates from diverse backgrounds who are inspired by our mission of equity and who are comfortable in a community of continuous learning and professional growth. We are able to offer a comprehensive training program involving depth and breadth of experience in all areas of school psychology, including: ? Comprehensive psychoeducational, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments using the most current instruments and methodologies ? Mental health counseling in individual and group formats ? Consultation with Teachers/School/Family ? Pre-referral/RTI intervention ? Cases drawn from across all age levels, service levels, and disability categories In addition to this comprehensive training, possible rotations for specialized experience include: ? Preschool Assessment Team ? Non-Public School and Private/Parochial Team ? Educationally-Related Mental Health Services Team ? Low Incidence Disabilities Team What We Offer: Supervision and Support ? Weekly individual supervision with site supervisor and/or district internship director ? Weekly group supervision ? Weekly small-group case consultation ? Bi-monthly new hire/intern trainings ? Monthly professional development trainings ? Competitive internship stipend (post-doctoral fellows receive staff salary and benefits)
