Job Summary

Job Summary

This position will follow the teacher calendar of 186 days for the 2023/24 school year (number of days actually worked will be dependent on start date of employee).

Requirements / Qualifications

To apply for the position of Instrumental/Vocal Music Teacher you must meet one of the minimum requirements below AND satisfy the basic skills requirement (e.g. CBEST or CSET Writing Skills or CSU Early Assessment Program or Qualifying Score on the SAT/ACT or College Board Advanced Placement or passage of Basic Skills from Another State or Requirement by Coursework): - Multiple Subject Teaching credential w/EL authorization and supplementary authorization in music - Single Subject Music credential w/EL authorization

In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:

  • Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts will be required upon employment)
  • Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC OR Verification Letter from the University stating program completion date)
  • Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Signed Letters Required - No more than 3)
  • Resume
  • Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR)
