PURPOSE OF POSITION: Under general supervision, the Occupational Therapist will provide quality, discipline-specific treatment for children with emotional disturbance, developmental delays, cognitive delays, disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and other disabilities and health impairments. Develops and provides a direct treatment program and/or consultation services for eligible students with disabling conditions, aged birth to 22, aimed at improving identified areas of weakness as they relate to the student’s educational needs and as outline in individual IEPs. Complete annual and triennial reviews of enrolled students as assigned. Provide discipline-specific consultation/coaching to other direct-care staff and care givers.
Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS: CA Occupational Therapy License required DOJ and TB Clearance required upon hire. At least one year of experience in occupational therapy.
