Virtual schools are new models in public education. They look both backward to what we know works well in educating children, and forward to see how technology can help us implement these strategies with children. Virtual school leaders are part of a pioneering effort. Our Lead Education Specialist, therefore, need to share the schools’ pioneering mission and approach. Under the direction of Program Specialists, Lead Education Specialists serve as dynamic leaders sharing the schools’ pioneering mission and approach to virtual education. Such leaders are trainers, instructional leaders and innovators. HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION: Full time Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm Annual Salary based on degree & years of experience - tinyurl.com/CAVA-Lead-Salary-Schedule We do participate in CalSTRS.
