Santa Barbara Unified School District is currently in need of two Special Education Paraeducator I's to assist our mild-to-moderate special education students at Monroe Elementary. These positions are 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and they follow the school year, from August through June. If you have experience tutoring or assisting elementary-aged children with schoolwork or homework and have a passion for helping the special needs community, we would like to meet you! Title:     Special Education Paraeducator I Salary Schedule Range: 25 ($18.51 to $21.84 an hour DOE) Purpose of Position: To assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students with disabilities in a mild-to-moderate or inclusion setting.  Reporting: Reports to a school site principal or other certificated administrator.  Location: Monroe Elementary * 431 Flora Vista Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93109 * https://monroe.sbunified.org/
