The San Carlos School District is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Health & Wellness. If you're passionate about contributing positive energy to a dedicated management team and supporting our whole child initiative in the social-emotional realm, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Spearhead crucial initiatives to ensure that staff, students, and families have access to the resources needed for overall well-being. Lead the District's Wellness Committee to foster a collaborative approach to health and wellness. Provide comprehensive health and wellness support services to our school sites. Support schools and staff in creating an equitable and inclusive learning environment aligned with the District's Strategic Plan. Play a pivotal role in enhancing the academic achievement of all students by prioritizing the holistic development of the whole child. Qualifications: Relevant experience in health and wellness initiatives, preferably in an educational setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and inspire a diverse team. Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in an educational context. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
