32 hours a week on average Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 - 4, Tuesday 7:30 - 4 + 1 Friday a month for in-service Summer school July 3 - July 27 | 8:30 - 1:00 | Monday - Thursday + additional set up days School Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and instructing all student activities including but not limited to sports, calisthenics, art, engaging games, health and nutrition. Responsibilities: Plan and instruct grades 2 - 11th. The ideal candidate will possess academic training in physical education/youth sports and have a passion for helping & encouraging students with creating fun activities. Be able to foster teamwork, safety, and respect among students. Participate in other roles related to being a part of the school community. Be willing to perform additional duties as assigned. Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required. Model student movements and activities including but not limited to running, jogging, jumping, throwing, calisthenics, stretching, sports, games and body-weight exercises. Teach healthy habits incorporating health and nutrition lessons through out the year. Duties not limited to above. Requirements: Be able to lift, bend, squat, stand and participate in activities planned 2 years experience as a PE teacher, bachelors degree and/or teaching degree Experience with computers and google platform Prefer CPR certified Ability to plan activities weeks at a time and execute them safely
