Rancho Buena Vista (RBV) High School seeks to identify qualified candidates for the head football coach position. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a student-athlete in the football program. RBV has a well-established reputation for excellence in football, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain this tradition.

CIF Champs - 1988, 1989
CIF Finalists - 1995, 2007
State Champ - 1988
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience coaching high school or college football. The successful candidate must also commit to the development of the character of our student-athletes. Effective communication strategies, organizational skills, and an awareness of safety and supervision concerns are essential qualities for this position. The coach should also prioritize community involvement within program activities.
The successful candidate must work collaboratively with fellow coaches, staff, parents, and community members while maintaining a professional demeanor.
In summary, the head football coach at RBV High School should have a proven track record of success in coaching, a commitment to the growth and development of student-athletes, and an aptitude for upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship and professionalism.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and a second interview will follow.

*Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of compliance training and courses as required by VUSD, including but not limited to CPR/First Aid & Mandated Reporter. Fingerprinting/background check and Drug screening will also be required.
