Requirements / Qualifications

Campus Safety Monitor 5.5 HRS/10 MONTHS 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM 1. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate of Arts Degree or higher is desired. Police Academy course work desired. Two years experience providing supervision to middle or high school students. Basic school/policy procedures including investigation and interrogation of high school age students and adults desired. 2. Knowledge of Student Conduct Code and be familiar with Education Code and Penal Code sections related to student conduct. 3. Basic office skills including filing, proper phone etiquette, and taking messages. 4. Ability to follow directions; communicate effectively in oral and written format with students and adults; ability to write clearly and concisely in English. 5. Ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred. 6. Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
