We're currently hiring a 3-hour / day Food Service Worker at RUSD's Central Kitchen! The schedule is 3 hours per day 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday - Friday, 193 days/ year. All school holidays and breaks off. This position offers all school and Holiday breaks off and earns holiday pay, vacation, and sick leave. As a Food Service Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated Food Service team who are committed to ensuring that every student has access to nutritious and tasty meals. You'll get to assist with food preparation, serving, and transportation, all while maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchens. Employment is contingent on DOJ and FBI clearance, TB assessment clearance, and a pre-employment strength and flexibility evaluation with Schools Insurance Authority. A Serv-Safe Certificate is required while employed. The Food Service Department will provide the training required to obtain the certificate. A valid CA driver's license is also required as the employee may drive a food service vehicle.
