Job Summary

Under the direction of the Principal, perform a variety of complex and responsible secretarial duties to assure smooth and efficient school office operations and to relieve the school Principal of administrative detail; serve as secretary to the Principal and coordinate communications between administrators, District and site personnel, parents, students and general public.

Location: Brea Junior High School Hours: 8 hrs a day Monday - Friday Sick leave and vacation are earned on a prorated basis at a rate of one day per month. California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states: "Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee." Article VI, 6.3.2 states: "When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees." Applicants may be rejected on the basis of an incomplete application or failure to meet the posted qualifications.
