The Speech Therapist, under the direction of the Director of Special Student Services, will provide speech and language assessments and therpay to students with communication disorders/delays; determine eligibility for services and therapy; develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention plans.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Any combination equivalent to Master’s degree in speech pathology, communicative disorders or related field; 2. Completion of required clinical internship and one year of experience working with students or children with speech and language disorders; 3. Valid Speech & Language Pathology Services Credential; 4. Registration with the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association; 5. Registration with the California Speech/Language and Hearing Association; 6. Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
