We have an exciting opportunity for a Child Development & Education Center Master Teacher located at our campus in San Jacinto, CA. Under the general supervision of the Director, Site Supervisor, or designee, the Child Development and Education Center Master Teacher provides instruction for student teachers and interns and supervises assistant and associate teachers who work with children in activities designed to promote optimal emotional, social, physical, intellectual and creative development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1) An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (attach transcripts); AND 2) Two (2) years of professional experience caring for children 18-36 months old, in a licensed, early childhood education setting; AND 3) Possession of, or the ability to obtain within 60-days of hire: 1. Child Development Permit at the Master Teacher level (attach permit) 2. Pediatric CPR certification 3. Pediatric First Aid certification 4) Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph*** SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES Position requires requires completion of fifteen (15) semester units per school year toward a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline until the degree is completed DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with 48 semester units of Early Childhood Education, or a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education
