Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Possess knowledge and understanding of a variety of counseling and teaching procedures and techniques with demonstrated ability to counsel effectively with students, parents, and teachers. Knowledge of school curriculum administrative procedures, and pertinent areas related to the total educational program.

IN-HOUSE CANDIDATES must include the documents listed in order to be considered for the position of Elementary School Counselor. Letter of Introduction Resume Pupil Personnel Services - School Counseling Credential or University Intern Credential - PPS School Counseling OUTSIDE CANDIDATES must include the documents listed below in order to be considered for the position of Elementary School Counselor.

  • Copy of Transcript
  • Credential Copy (Pupil Personnel Services-School Counseling Credential or University Intern Credential-PPS School Counseling (eligibility letter))
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (must submit three (3) current letters written within the last twelve (12) months)
  • Resume
