Job Summary
Assists the teacher in ways determined by the teacher to be useful in improving the quality of the preschool programs, involving clerical duties, supervision of children, transportation, food service, and instructional tasks which, in the judgment of the teacher may be performed by a non-credentialed employee. The work need not be performed in the presence of the teacher, but the teacher retains responsibility for the instruction and supervision. MATERIALS REQUIRED: Resume Letter of Intent Two Current Letters of Recommendation (not necessary for current FCUSD employees) Passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test is required. THIS POSITION IS IN OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM - IMMUNIZATIONS ARE REQUIRED BY SB 792 (PERTUSSIS, MEASLES AND INFLUENZA
Upon Conditional Offer of Employment - Department of Justice Criminal Background Check - TB Test (Valid for 4 Years) - CPR/First Aid Certification (at time of employment) - Complete district training as a Mandated Reporter, Covid 19 Training, and Sexual Harassment Training - Immunizations required by SB 792; Influenza, Pertussis and Measles - State Mandated Preschool Forms, including a health screening completed by a physician **HOURS: 8AM-11AM AND/OR 11:345AM-2:45PM** Completion of six units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development is required within the first year of employment.
