Position Overview: As the Executive Director of Technology at Natomas Unified School District, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, vision, and oversight for all aspects of information technology across the district. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education by integrating technology into our teaching and learning processes, ensuring seamless technology operations, and promoting data-driven decision-making. Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and leadership abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and leadership abilities would be one or both of the following: Education: Graduation from a four-year accredited university with a degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Educational, or Public Administration or equivalent is desired. Experience: Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible and related leadership experience with: -Proven experience in a leadership role within K-12 education or a related field. -Strong understanding of educational technology trends, tools, and best practices. -Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills. -Knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory standards in educational technology. -Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders. -Visionary leadership and a commitment to improving education through technology.
