Job Summary
The job of Attendance Assistant is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by ensuring accurate attendance accounting within the District; resolving attendance related issues; ensuring compliance with state reporting and documenting requirements; conveying attendance related information to appropriate parties; and providing general clerical support, information and direction as may be assigned at assigned school site.
Requirements / Qualifications
SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be screened and evaluated to ensure application is complete, certifications are attached, and applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a written and performance exam for all qualified applicants. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 70% or higher on each exam will be placed on an eligibility list and the top three ranks of candidates will receive a departmental interview. Additional interviews will be conducted in rank order until all open positions are filled as vacancies occur. All examinations are based on the job description for the position. Job descriptions are available on the District website, Personnel Commission, or Human Resources. The exams for this recruitment will take place online via e-Skill on November 20th –22nd, 2023 (Written) and December 1st-3rd, 2023 (Performance). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of general clerical or record keeping experience or 1 year of the same experience in a school office has been found to be a minimum requirement for successful job performance.
