Job Summary

Altus Schools is an educational model in which students in grades 6-12 engage in blended learning instruction while working towards individualized course completion via a Pathways Personalized Education Plan (PPEP). The Altus Schools Educator is competent, energetic, and student-centered with exceptional classroom management and organizational skills. This position requires a dedicated individual who is able to motivate students, sets high expectations, employs a data-driven approach, embraces accountability, and is a team player. This position is full-time, not to exceed 40 hours per week with a daily pay rate. Assignment will require an 8 hour work day, Monday through Friday with daily on-site attendance.

The learning environment, located in resource centers throughout the city, is professional, clean, safe and well-equipped with curriculum resources, teacher & student laptops, desktop computers, wireless networks, and high-speed T-1 Internet access in each resource center. SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selected applicants will first be interviewed by a panel of School Administrators, will complete work-styles/behavior survey and math quiz. Candidates who successfully complete this phase of process will be interviewed by the Superintendent School Services and Founder and Deputy Superintendent School Services.
