The Science Teacher helps train staff and parents on the new Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and will plan and help implement NGSS throughout Connecting Waters Charter Schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Certificate/Materials Required for Science Teacher: 1) Resume 2) Letter of Introduction 3) Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Chemistry. Biology and Physics Credential preferred, but not required. 4) California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC 5) Three (3) Current Letters of References 6) Copies of Transcripts

$1,000 Master's Degree stipend, $2,000 Doctorate stipend, and health benefits available. Full-time benefit allotment of $1,500/month for medical, vision, and dental/Part-time allotment $750-$1,125/month based on FTE. CalSTRS retirement. Connecting Waters is a TK-12 grade independent public charter school that services the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, San Joaquin, Stanislaus Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, and Tuolumne.
