Job Summary
The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for two (2) Early Childhood Community Liaisons for the Early Education Department of the Learning and Leadership Services Division. These positions provide early learning and care stakeholders and parents/guardians with supports and resources and maintain professional connections within the early education community throughout San Diego County. Incumbent will be required to work flexible hours within a 40 hour work week in order to accommodate evening workshops. Position requires the ability to travel from SDCOE to various locations throughout the county. These positions support the UPK Mixed Delivery and/or Workforce Development Grant until June 30, 2026. These positions are full-time and will offer the classified benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalPERS state retirement system.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a combination of education and experience which clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge, and abilities required (please see job description). Experience must include a minimum of two years working in an early education setting. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is required. Valid California driver license required.
