Position Title: Share N Care Supervisor (After School Care) Supervised by: Principal Hours: Monday- Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm First Friday of every month 12:00pm-5:30pm Pay Range: $18-$22/ hour Start Date: January 8, 2024 Job Summary: Coordinates before and after school activities, games, crafts, and homework for elementary and middle school students. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare activities that are developmentally appropriate for elementary and middle school students • Assist students, individually or in small groups, with lesson assignments • Monitor individual and/or groups of students in a variety of settings • Communicate with the parents through daily drop-off and pick-up • Maintain a safe environment for students • Responsible for all activity and preparations for the program • Follow and enforce all safety policies • Assist with student check-in/out • Attend all professional development trainings, school functions, and staff meetings • Performs other jobs/tasks/duties deemed necessary for a smooth functioning program as assigned by the principal Basic Qualifications: • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Follow and enforce all safety policies. • Assist with parent check-in/out. • Proactive response to any issues and concerns that may arise • Ability to solve problems and provide solutions. • Ability to multitask and cope with a stressful environment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demands: To successfully meet the needs of the students in his/her care, the teacher must: • Spend the majority of the day in the classroom. While standing the teacher will frequently hold objects they are working with or demonstrating • Sit on an occasional basis when developing lesson plans, grading, etc. • Walk through the classroom and be able
