A valid Class C California Driver License. A Backflow Inspection License must be obtained within six months of employment. Must obtain within 90 days of employment an OSHA Certificate for the operation of a forklift; thereafter must maintain certificate. A DMV driving report is required at time of application

High School graduation or equivalent and two years of journey-level experience as a plumber and experience at an unskilled to semiskilled level in two or more trade areas- or- completion of apprenticeship training for plumber and one year of experience as a plumber and experience at an unskilled to semiskilled level in two or more trade areas - or - such alternative that the Personnel Commission may find desirable. This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) full-time position working 8 hours per day, 12 months per year. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, performs skilled plumbing work in the repair, installation, and alteration of sprinkler systems, water lines, sewers, and similar facilities and equipment; performs related duties as assigned; may perform general maintenance duties and assist other skilled maintenance personnel by performing unskilled and semiskilled duties in other maintenance areas.
