Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to the Site Director in their efforts to provide a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for students during the afterschool hours at their assigned site. Maintain awareness of HEART Program goals and processes • Understand State and Federal grant requirements • Support Site Director to meet, or exceed, grant mandated attendance levels • Serve students snack and complete daily and weekly snack attendance reports • Ensure food safety and meet CACFP requirements • Assist with timely completion of data entry, reports and attendance This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. Position location: Visalia, CA

• Education and Experience: • Work of similar nature with another expanded learning program or a school district • High School diploma; AND • 48 completed college units OR • Proof of Passage of the NCLB paraprofessional exam

Must be at least 18 years of age • Department of Justice/FBI LiveScan clearance • Must receive TB clearance • A valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance are required to drive for ProYouth business • Must be able to travel between sites including the transportation of supplies • Must be willing to work on weekends when staff development or other activities are scheduled
Education & Experience
High School diploma and AA/AS or higher; or • High School diploma and 48 college units; or • High School diploma and Certificate of Passage of the NCLB exam; 6 month's working experience with an expanded learning program or a school district
