ELD SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: Students will be exposed to 1:1 and/or small group academic support in ELD/ELA. This time will allow students more time and opportunity to work on phonemic awareness, letter recognition, phonics skills, fluency, vocabulary, writing, Thinking Maps (Path to Proficiency) and comprehension skills. Support teacher will monitor, and adjust interventions as needed with guidance from the Academic Performance Coach and classroom teacher. This position is not employed directly by Arcadia Unified, but it is employed by our affiliate Right At School. Employment processing will be completed through both Organizations. Arcadia Unified will process selected applicants as Substitute Teachers, while Right At School will process the selected applicants as hourly as-needed intervention teachers from 8:30-12:00 (M-Th) position is available at Holly Avenue.
Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements Possession of a Multiple Subject Credential, and English Learner Authorization (BCLAD, ELA1, or CLAD preferred) OR Single Subject Credential with Full ELA 1 or CLAD authorization Prefer expertise in ELD/ELA instruction at the elementary level. Teaching experience preferred.
1) Multiple Subject credential OR Single Subject Credential with Full ELA 1 or CLAD authorization (Detailed copy - must be current and reflect eff/exp dates) 2) EL Certification (CLAD, ELAM, ELA 1 etc) 3) Current Resume 4) CBEST or BSR equivalency as approved by CTC. 5) Cover Letter 6) CSET/Exam Score reports (preferred but not required).
