Job Summary
Job Summary
This position will follow the teacher calendar of 186 days for the 2023/24 school year (number of days actually worked will be dependent on start date of employee). The hours of employment will be from 9:00am - 5:30pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
Requirements / Qualifications
To apply for the position of Community Schools Social Worker, you must meet the minimum requirements below: - Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work OR School Counseling - CBEST or Basic Skills Requirement
In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:

- Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC OR Verification Letter from the University stating program completion date)
- Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)

- Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR)

-Salary is dependent upon Degree(s), number of semester units beyond a Bachelor's Degree, CA Credential, and previous experience;
-Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD;
-Additional salary steps can be credited for experience for each full year of prior public school teaching experience with proof of service(s).
