OPENING DETAILS - Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day (.875 FTE) - Work hours:7:30 - 9:30 am and 12:30-5:30 pm LOCATION: Disney Around the Bell SALARY RANGE: 37 (New employees to the district will begin at Step 1. Exceptions based on relevant experience pending approval.) Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist instructors in the care, supervision and learning activities for infant, toddler, preschool and/or school age children in the classroom and on the playground.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or high school equivalency and previous experience working with pre-school or school age children. Completion of 6 semester or equivalent quarter units in child development or completion of at least 2 semester units or equivalent quarter units and continuation in an educational program until six units have been completed, ARE REQUIRED!. ***MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION SHOWING YOUR RELATED EXPERIENCE OR BY PROVIDING A RESUME - THIS IS NEEDED FOR SCREENING PURPOSES.*** LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A valid First Aid and CPR certificate will be required within six months of employment. Successful completion of the State-mandated proficiency examination.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED): THEY MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION. THIS INCLUDES CURRENT EMPLOYEES. All foreign educational documents must be translated and evaluated for U.S. equivalency prior to submitting. **Proof of graduation from high school, GED or college degree **Proof of completion of 6 semester or equivalent quarter units in child development or completion of at least 2 semester units or equivalent quarter units and continuation in an educational program until six units have been completed.

  • Proof of HS Graduation ((Copy of GED/HS diploma, copy of degree or transcripts with date degree awarded))
