Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education. As the largest organization of its kind in Santa Clara County, we are dedicated to offering career-oriented education to both high school and adult students. Annually, MetroED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. MetroED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Technology Innovation Services is responsible for providing District-wide leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of information technology and services to support instructional, student services, administrative, and operational programs and services district wide, including data center operations, voice and data communications systems, administrative and educational computing systems, network services, e-mail, internet services, servers, storage area network, disaster recovery and back-up, technical support services, computer software and hardware acquisition, inventory, maintenance and repair, computer system design and installation, Effectively direct, manage, coordinate, and supervise the Technology Innovation operations district-wide, formulate, interpret and administer policy and procedures.

Successful applicant must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment: •Original transcripts for Bachelor degree and higher •Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI •Proof of Tuberculosis clearance •Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
