Job Summary
The Poway Unified School District is looking to fill an open Impact Teacher position at Westwood Elementary School. The position supports small group intervention at the elementary level for reading support. The Impact Teacher works 16 hours per week Monday - Thursday 3 hours/day. Impact Teachers are defined as hourly compensated teachers employed to address students' academic needs through supplemental instruction, formative assessment, progressive monitoring in collaboration with the teacher of record.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must hold a CA credential: multiple subject acceptable Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. Copy of CBEST or equivalent required. Unofficial copies of transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring) Current resume Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 month. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator TB Certification
