Job Summary

Poway Unified School District is seeking a Career Education Specialist to support the regional adult education consortium by developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with business and community organizations in order to benefit consortium offerings, curriculum and consortium-level services, and support for students. With representatives from each member district, this position leads the planning and implementation of several special events and projects that are related to business and community partners. These events may include job/resource fairs, career and education showcases, advisory committees, meet the employer events, and community forums. This position serves on the Operations Team for the adult education consortium, and as such, will be assigned ownership to lead specific elements of the regional’s three-year and annual plans. Qualifications: Must possess a valid California Career Technical Education Designated Subjects Teaching Credential or be able to obtain a valid California Career Technical Education Designated Subjects Teaching Credential.
