Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District has openings for Instructional Assistant - Health Care positions. These positions accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: - Resume - High School Diploma (or GED) - CPR and First Aid Certificates - must be up to date - 48 Units or an Associate Degree (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Some experience working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable. Kit Carson Elementary School - 1 position - 28.5 hrs/week Hours: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Thurs & Minimum days) F.D. Roosevelt Elementary School - 1 position - 28.5 hrs/week Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Thurs & Minimum days) W. Anderson Elementary School - 1 position - 30.0 hrs/week Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) 8:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. (Thurs & Minimum days) *Schedule and site are subject to change Current LESD Employees: (excluding substitutes) To apply please submit a Reassignment Request Form, along with all required documents, to the District Office by the closing date and time.
