This is an open and promotional recruitment to establish an eligibility list. Positions in this classification work 8 hours per day, 6:30 am - 3pm, 12 months per year. The recruitment process will consist of a training and experience examination and structured interview. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, Operations & Transportation and the Maintenance Services Supervisor, perform a variety of skilled Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation activities; operate the Energy Management System; and maintain and repair industrial kitchen equipment.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of experience performing professional-level HVAC tasks for a public or private-sector organization. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a Universal EPA Certification as required by Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations, Provision 82, Subpart F. Valid California driver's license.
