ISP teacher shall receive assingments related to intervention from the assigned classroom teacher(s). ISP teacher shall be supervised and evaluated by the school site principal or designated learning director.
The ISP teacher will be paid the Oxnard Educators Association (OEA) hourly rate of ($45 an hour) and will be a member of OEA.
The ISP position will be less than 20 hours per week and will not exceed 75% of the school year, or 135 days; ISP positions will be temporary one-year positions for the 2018-2019 school year only.

Intervention Support Providers are credentialed teachers that provide intervention to groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher/school. Intervention Support Providers are assigned to a specific school and have a consistent weekly schedule not to exceed. 19.5 hours weekly. This is a wonderful opportunity for a newly credentialed teacher to gain experience or for a credentialed teacher that does not want to work full time. Each school site has different hours and assignments. Placements will be made based upon the needs of the specific school sites.
