Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator and/or the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Elementary Music Teacher will be responsible for music instruction. The Music Teacher will support students and work collaboratively and independently with all constituents in a diverse environment committed to equity and students’ social-emotional wellness. The Music Teacher will organize and teach multiple classes in the field of music education to students in primary grades with proficiency in both vocal and instrumental music and assists in other school programs as assigned.

Job Description awaiting Board Approval - Must possess a valid California Single Subject Credential in Music - CLAD Certificate/English Learner authorization is required. - This will involve both instrumental and vocal instruction.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
- Copy of Transcript (Unofficial are accepted for the application but if selected for employment official sealed transcripts will be required.)
- Credential Copy (A valid California credential authorizing teaching music at the secondary level. CLAD Certificate/English Learner authorization is required. )
