Position Summary: *Please note this posting is for the 2023-24 school year. Only complete applications will be considered* It is the responsibility of the Substitute Teacher to carry-out the absent teacher's prepared lesson plans. During a prolonged absence, the substitute is responsible for performing all essential functions identified in the absent teacher's job description. Applications will be carefully reviewed. All applicants will be notified by email regarding their selection status. Applicants offered a position, will need to attend a one day orientation. Qualified applicants will be professional, courteous, and dedicated to providing outstanding service to our students. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Teaching Credential or Substitute Permit. Requirements: *Valid California Teaching Credential or *Valid California 30-Day Sub Permit or *BA/BS and meet the Basic Skills requirement (Pass one (1) of the following examinations: CBEST, CSET, Basic Skills Examination From Another State, SAT (minimum MATH score of 550 and ENGLISH score of 500 ), ACT (minimum MATH score of 23 and ENGLISH score of 22). All candidates offered a position will need to submit proof of TB test and Fingerprint Clearance.
