Job Summary
Monterey Ridge Elementary School (MRES) is looking to fill an open Impact Teacher position. The Impact Teacher typically works 12-16 hours per week pending site needs and funding. An Impact Teacher is defined as an hourly compensated teacher employed to address students' academic needs through supplemental instruction, formative assessment, progressive monitoring in collaboration with the teacher of record. An Impact Teacher will support small group intervention at the elementary level primarily for reading and math support. CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Teaching Credential: Single Subject or Multiple Subject acceptable.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of valid California Teaching Credential (Single Subject or Multiple Subject) 3. Copy of CBEST or equivalent. 4. Copy of Transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 5. Current resume. 6. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 7. Copy of TB Clearance 8. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 9.
