Job Summary
Under general supervision, the CSIS Testing Analyst will plan and execute testing and configuration maintenance tasks necessary to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards for software maintained and operated by CSIS. The CSIS Testing Analyst engages in continuous learning and contributes to team efficiency and improvement.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in systems configuration management, software quality assurance and testing for enterprise level software built on recent technologies/models, such as .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript. Demonstrated skill in creating and managing continuous integration, continuous deployment release pipelines. Experience in using and testing against cloud infrastructure services, debugging, and troubleshooting tools. Demonstrated skill in automated tests in one or more of the recent automated web-based testing frameworks, such as Selenium, and using technologies, such as C#, .NET, Python, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL, API and maintaining a test library using source control systems such as Git. Experience in validating and verifying software usability requirements and accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.1. Education: Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with a major in computer science, information technologies, or a related field. Work experience resulting in an equivalent knowledge base may be substituted for the major requirement. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. This position is overtime exempt and has a probationary period of six months.
