Job Summary
Instructs children from age three years to entrance of Kindergarten in activities to promote social, physical and intellectual growth/development in a preschool/child care center. Follows and implements lessons from the Core Knowledge Curriculum. Approached teaching from a positive, all-students-can-learn-at-high-levels, foundation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must include a cover letter stating why they are interested in working at Rocklin Academy schools, a resume, copy of transcripts and 2-3 current professional letters of recommendation. Positions are subject to fingerprinting with the Department of Justice, TB clearance, CPR certification - or the ability to get certified.
Requirements/Qualifications Twelve post-secondary semester units or equivalent quarter units in ECE or CD complete with passing grades at an accredited college or approved college or university and at least six months of work experience in a licensed child care center, preschool or comparable children's program. - The units specified above shall include the general area of: child growth and development, or human development: child, family and community, or child and family: and program/curriculum. -- Or teacher credentials - Preferred 15 hours training first aid/cpr
