Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Student Support Services, the Instructional Trainer Specialist will serve as liaison between the Student Support Services and Local Educational Agencies (LEA), by providing expertise for engagement opportunities and resources as it relates to serving students who are defined as Foster and/or McKinney-Vento/Homeless in Ventura County. Under the direction of an assigned manager, the Instructional Trainer Specialist is assigned specific projects, works individually with students, and supports the education of students in foster care and/or experiencing homelessness.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: B.A. Degree. Experience working with Foster and/or McKinney-Vento/Homeless learners. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual and Biliterate – Spanish - Preferred Requires a valid California Driver’s License.
