Located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, the El Monte Union High School District was established in 1901. Its high schools include Arroyo, El Monte, Mountain View, Rosemead, South El Monte and Fernando R. Ledesma High School. EMUHSD also features the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School, one of California’s largest and most respected adult programs. EMUHSD employs over 600 certificated employees and over 500 classified employees. The professional staff provides educational programs for over 7,000 students in grades 9 through 12 and 11,000 in adult education. Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED: Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or other mental health related field from an accredited educational institution plus training or licensing based on one of the following levels: STRONGLY DESIRED: Licensed for a minimum of two years and have completed the California Board of Behavioral Sciences approved supervision course: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Eligible to supervise clinical interns Professional licenses/registrations must be current and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License. Bilingual candidates are preferred. School-based mental health services experience is preferred.
