Requirements / Qualifications
Position effective the 2023-2024 school year. Education/Experience as stated in the job description for this position: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, planning, construction management, business with an emphasis in planning, or a related field with three years of experience in public sector construction or facilities management, or a minimum of five years’ of progressively responsible professional supervisory experience in public sector construction or facilities management. *Valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance. *Licensure as an architect, engineer, general contractor, and DSA Inspector certification is preferred. Supplemental Questions: Please answer the following two supplemental questions and attach a separate document with your response to your application. 1. Share your planning and construction experience for secondary education, and outline the top 10 components for executing an effective and complete project. 2. What are three key challenges for public school facilities and construction, and how can they be tackled effectively?
