Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs custodial duties such as cleaning classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, offices and bathrooms, and maintaining custodial equipment. Assists in keeping an assigned school or District site and grounds clean and in orderly condition. Within this scope, duties include coordinating, assigning, and directing others engaged in custodial work. Performs other related duties as assigned. This classification is distinguished from a Head Custodian I in that a Head Custodian II has responsibility for an elementary school with increased responsibility.
