Requirements / Qualifications

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a high school assistant principal at Sierra Vista High School, responsible to the principal, to provide assistance in coordinating and managing all aspects of the school campus and administrative district policies and programs. The assistant principal will support the school site principal in all aspects of design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of curriculum, instruction, school-wide discipline, and community relations. REQUIREMENTS -At least three years of successful teaching experience -Bachelor’s degree, supplemented by coursework or training in the area of school administrative services -Active California Administrative Services Credential -Possession of or ability to qualify for an appropriate California administrative credential authorizing service as an assistant principal

PREFERENCES -Experience as a curriculum, technology, and intervention coach, department chair, or service in other leadership assignments -Experience with managing a high school student engagement programs and master schedule -Experience with pupil discipline -Experience with athletics -Experience with facilities -Experience with campus security and social emotional services -Secondary experience -Master’s degree The following MUST be submitted with the application: -Ed-Join Employment Application •Employment application must be current and thoroughly complete, "see resume" will not be accepted. •Record of experience must contain current information including immediate supervisors. 1.
