Mission College Prep seeks a full-time Director of Student Life who will support the moral, developmental, academic, and social, progress of each student in grades 9-12, in partnership with faculty, staff, and parents. The Director of Student Life works with colleagues to facilitate the formation of MCP students in alignment with the values and dispositions expressed within the school’s Profile of the Graduate. The Director of Student Life makes proactive decisions that seek to balance the needs of individual students with the needs of the rest of the MCP community. These decisions are made within a progressive educational community that strives to know and support individual students in their developmental context while consistently holding them accountable for their behavior. The Director of Student Life is responsible for managing a number of high school systems, including disciplinary programs, academic integrity, and campus supervision. The Director of Student Life also oversees health, safety, and emergency management of students, faculty and staff. This position requires a professional educator dedicated to the furtherance of a healthy and distinctive campus culture in alignment with the mission of Mission College Prep disciplinary policy and student expectations.
