Job Summary

Job Summary

Job Goal: To teach art (ceramics) to students in grades 9-12, and assist in other school programs as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: - Valid California single subject credential in art that authorizes an individual to teach art classes in a departmentalized setting; must possess EL certification. - Expert in leading instruction on the basics of ceramic construction, hand building, pottery wheel, sculpture, and glazing techniques. - Able to teach basic to advanced pottery, sculpture and AP Studio Art. - Additional professional experience in the field is desired.

Attach a letter of introduction in which you include a brief overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills. - Letter(s) of Recommendation. Attach three recent (within one year) letters of reference. - Resume. Attach an updated, current resume. - Credential Copy. Please look up your California Single Subject: Art credential on the CTC website, save it as a PDF, and upload it to your Edjoin application.
