Job Summary
Perform a variety of activities designed to engage parents in their children’s academic success through partnerships between students, parents, and the community at large. Support and provide parent educational workshops to enhance parent involvement at the school site. Support families within the community resulting in the best environment possible for their students with an emphasis on socioeconomically disadvantaged and English as a second language families.
Requirements / Qualifications
*A High school diploma or equivalent *An Associate of Arts Degree is desirable *Valid Class C California Driver’s License *Evidence of appropriate automobile insurance based upon DMV regulations *A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate *Bilingual (ability to speak, read and write) Spanish/English *Must pass Spanish Proficiency test provided by the district
