Job Summary
To maintain a wide variety of technology in the district which may include the offices, libraries, computer carts la-es, and classroom technology. implement and support the technology activities in the district. • Assists in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer servers and networks. • lnstalls, repairs and configures computers and other peripheral equipment. • Assists in the maintenance of student information systems and curriculum-based software. • Assists in the purchase and f}review of computer software and equipment. • Assists staff on computer literacy. • Assists users in identifying operational problems. • Maintains, configures and designs district website. • Assist with network software installation and maintenance. • Assists in maintaining inventory of site computer equipment and software.
Requirements / Qualifications
-High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent. -Two years computer operation experience in an instructional or similar setting. -Knowledge of operation, maintenance and capabilities of personal computers, servers, networks, computer software usage and applications. -Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license and be insurable by the districts insurance carrier. -Ability to pass District test(s) with 70% or higher score. -Ability to pass lift test 50lbs, push and pull 70 lbs. - Ability to effectively maintain documentation on hardware and software. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and community. -Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. - Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field. -Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
