White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. ** Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. ** Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. ** Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. ** Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting. ** Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

Job Summary

The job of “HVAC/Electrician” is done for the purpose/s of maintaining heating/air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems; identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems; providing appropriate documentation required by other personnel and for conforming to regulations; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; providing orientation to personnel in the operation of heating, air conditioning/ refrigeration equipment; and ensuring adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner; is done for the purpose/s of maintaining electrical systems and components in safe operating condition; providing information on proper operation of electrical systems; identifying location of existing electrical systems; and determining the efficient installation of additional systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

Prior job-related experience as an HVAC Technician with a commercial HVAC entity or public institution with a system similar to Districts'. High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in trade Department of Justice and FBI Fingerprint Response. Valid Driver's License and evidence of insurance. EPA Certificate Universal Technician Refrigeration Management Certification. T.B. clearance prior to beginning work.

Skills to: • operate hand and power tools used in craft; • read and interpret plans, blue prints and/or schematics; • perform basic math to make calculations. Knowledge of: • mechanical, electrical and hydraulic applications to HVAC field; • codes and regulations relative to HVAC field; boiler operation, water treatment, basic computer operation; • methods and use of materials, tools and equipment used in craft, appropriate building codes, safety practices, and systems components.
